Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has made a lasting impression across the screens. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26 the 26th of December, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas and studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to international commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for performing. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of top TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Later, she starred in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008 she took home an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. She was Marisol Deko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After just two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was just seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. From more than 1,000 candidates her name was picked as one of just four. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials, and off Broadway productions including a musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
